GENERAL DISPOSITION

Security of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Jamaica and Residence

 

  • -24-hour surveillance service at the Embassy checkpoint

  • -Protection of assets, places, events and people

  • -Monitoring of equipment, devices and security systems found on location

The purpose of this announcement is for the hiring of a company for the security of the Offices of the Embassy and Residence of the Republic of Korea in Jamaica.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TENDER

 

  • A)Companies must have a minimum of 5 years of work in Jamaica and must have a license in the security industry in Jamaica.

  • B)On the start date of the tender, companies must have a license in the security industry in Jamaicavalid and current for Security Projects.

  • C)On the start date of the tender, companies that are in the process of liquidation, merger, acquisition or sale, or are planning any of these processes, will not be able to participate in it.

 


EXPLANATORY VISIT ABOUT THE TENDER PLACE

 

Companies interested in applying can request a visit to see the facilities.

 

 

PRESENTATION OF THE PROPOSALS

 

A) Documentation mandatory:

 

1. Registration Form (see attachments #1 and #2)

 

2. Business license (1 Copy) and related security licenses (if any, 1 Copy each)

 

3. Quote for private security and surveillance service throughout the day (24 hours) based on the services requested by the Embassy

 

4. Presentation of the company and work plan

 

5. List of most relevant references from the last 3 years

* Experience with other embassies, banks, government entities and large companies

* Indicate how many security guards have worked in each reference (per year)

 

6. Financial report for the last 3 years or bank reference letter

SELECTION PROCESS OF THE AWARDED COMPANY

  • A)The examination on qualification of tenderers will be based on competency, such as past performance, company size, and credit rating.

  • B)If a company withdraws from the tender or does not meet the qualification, the next candidate will be considered. In the event a successful tenderer fails to meet the qualification standard before signing the contract, or decides to forfeit the contract, a tenderer which scored the next highest grade may be granted the contract pending examination.

TENDER INVALIDATION

 

  • A)A tender submitted by a tenderer that does not meet the abovementioned qualifications will be invalid

 

  • B)A tender based on forged or counterfeit documents will be invalid.

 

 

OTHERS

 

  • A)Tenderers who are not fully qualified or who fail to comply with the conditions of the tender will be disqualified.

 

  • B)All tenderers are obliged to be fully aware of the information specified in the tender invitation. The Embassy of the Republic of Korea is not responsible or any issues which may arise from misinterpretation by the tenderer

  • C)The Embassy of the Republic of Korea will uphold transparency and fairness in contracts according to Article 502 of the Act on Contracts to Which the State is a Party. The successful tenderer must sign the Pledge to Implement Integrity Pact as well as the Confidentiality Agreement.

  • D)In case of any difference of interpretation, the Embassy’s interpretation shall prevail.

  • E)The above schedule may change depending on progress.
